Beverage cans crushing material separation experiment

Commissioned by customers, Tofonep conducted sorting experiments on the site of beverage cans crushing materials.

Purpose:
The content of aluminum in the crushing materials of beverage cans was detected

Testing equipment:

TFES-650 high frequency eddy current separator

Experimental scheme:

The experimental equipment carries out sorting test on the broken materials of the cans sent by mail under the condition that the magnetic roller frequency is 120HZ, the belt motor frequency is 26Hz, and the distance between the parting plate and the belt is 55mm.

Material preparation:

The experimental sample is the broken material of the cans; Total 2 bags of materials,A bag of big piece and a bag of small piece

The aluminum content of the above two bags is 59.4% and 47.5% respectively.

If the material is sorted by eddy current, 594kg/475kg aluminum can be selected per ton of material.

 

This experiment was conducted in the factory laboratory. Although the equipment parameters in the experiment were as close as possible to the actual working conditions on the site, there would still be deviations from the actual conditions on the site, and it was also related to the time node of the field sampling, so this experiment was only responsible for the sample delivery results.
